WasteLess Cooking Class Series

WasteLess Cooking Class Series

Ready to finally feel confident in the kitchen—without relying on a recipe every night? Join Diane Sheya, chef instructor for WasteLess Solutions, for a cooking class designed to help you cook nutritious, budget-friendly meals using what you already have on hand.

Quarterly, starting in March 2026, we’ll explore a new theme focused on pantry, freezer, and fridge cooking, teaching you how to stretch ingredients, reduce food waste, and build real culinary intuition. These beginner- and intermediate-friendly classes are hands-on, fun, and packed with practical skills you can use immediately. Before each class you’ll receive a specific shopping list and a class outline.

With your downloadable templates, you’ll learn how to:

✨ Cook creatively from your pantry, freezer, and fridge

✨ Build meals without needing a recipe

✨ Reduce food waste with smart storage and efficient kitchen habits

✨ Save money with strategic meal planning

✨ Use seasonal produce all year long

Whether you're cooking for yourself, your family, or looking for a thoughtful gift, this class series will help make 2026 your most confident, stress-free cooking year yet. Your registration supports WasteLess Solutions, a nonprofit dedicated to the education, prevention, and diversion of food waste in Utah. Your registration is a tax-deductible donation and makes a tangible difference on food waste.

WasteLess Cooking Classes occur on the fourth Wednesday, quarterly from 6–7:30 PM.

A cooking class that nourishes families, reduces waste, and brings meaningful impact into the kitchen.
